Mankato woman says she was raped by her husband in 2012
A mankata man says he was sexually assaulted by his wife in 2012 in Mankata, New Zealand.
The woman, who was married at the time, told police the assault took place at their home in the early morning hours of the morning of Jan. 20, 2012.
The mankati woman said he awoke in the middle of the night and the wife pulled him into bed and began to have sex with him.
She said she woke up the next morning and the mankatas house was on fire.
The husband reported the rape to the police, but the police were unable to substantiate the allegation, the woman said.
The investigation has since been closed.

Police in the town of Mankatosa, where the man lived, searched the house and seized the woman’s cellphone.
The couple told police that the woman had contacted them from abroad and had contacted the woman to tell them about the rape.
The police report states the woman also told the man that the rape occurred during the man’s pregnancy.
The Mankats said the rape took place in their home, but police have not yet been able to confirm this.
The couple filed a claim with the New Zealand Civil Court.
The judge ruled the woman should not be separated from her husband, and ordered the man to pay $200,000 in damages to the couple.
